The Westinghouse Warriors won against the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs on Thursday with 43 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Westinghouse pulled ahead with a 43-42 photo finish over Riverside-Brookfield. The victory was nothing new for Westinghouse as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading Westinghouse to victory were LaMonyca Bryant and Jamilah Jackson. Bryant dropped a double-double on 10 points and 17 rebounds, while Jackson scored 18 points along with 7 assists and 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiara Harris, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Westinghouse's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Riverside-Brookfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Westinghouse will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Payton College Prep at 5:00 p.m. Riverside-Brookfield's road trip will continue as they head out to face Proviso East at 6:30 p.m. on December 6th.
