Despite 145 more yards than the Nighthawks, the Wolverines couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
 Despite the loss, West Cabarrus still got an impressive performance from   Johnta Harrison, who threw for 226 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown. Those 54  rushing yards gave  Harrison a new career-high. West Cabarrus also got a significant boost from  Daylon Fuller, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 100 yards.
 Northern Guilford got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kevin Willoughby out in front who threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
 West Cabarrus now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Northern Guilford, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home.
 West Cabarrus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northern Guilford, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  28-24  victory against Marvin Ridge on the 22nd.
