There's no place like home for The Orlando Christian Prep Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down West Oaks Academy 35-18 on Friday. Orlando Christian Prep's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Orlando Christian Prep can attribute much of their success to Adryan Marayne, who rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown.
Orlando Christian Prep's win was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.8 points per game. As for West Oaks Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Orlando Christian Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. West Oaks Academy will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Foundation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
