Manatee was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Steven Williams did his best to prevent it. Williams wasn't messing around, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Williams and Manatee will venture away from home to square off against Winter Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Williams' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Manatee's four-game streak of wins at home.
