Eastern Greene's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keylee Hudson, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Hudson is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mallorie Elliott, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Eastern Greene's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-8. As for Shakamak, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Greene will play host again and welcome Bloomington South, where tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bloomington South is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Shakamak, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine at 5:30 p.m.
