The biggest upset of the week belonged to Victor Valley, who took down 434th ranked Silverado, 42-34.
Barstow extended the longest winning streak in Desert Sky this week by beating Granite Hills, 49-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Barstow's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tracy Venable threw for 51 and one touchdown and Devonte Tate had 41 yards receiving. On the ground James Noble chipped in 225 yards. Kyle Pittman helped Barstow's passing attack out by catching one ball for 10 yards.
Burroughs's Ej Watts and Jackson French have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Watts has thrown for 1417 yards this season, while French has 50 catches for 801 yards. Noble from Mike Esposito's team leads the league in rushing with 2198 yards.
The Jackrabbits moved up to 656 from 701 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Victor Valley climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Hawks 42-34.
