The Fletcher Senators will face off against the Stanton Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Fletcher sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over Englewood. The Senators haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Henry Manley looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February.

At the plate, Jakeb McDougall was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. He has become a key player for Fletcher: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5-1 otherwise. Tucker Demsey was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Stanton made sure to put some runs up on the board against Riverside on Tuesday. Everything went Stanton's way against Riverside as Stanton made off with a 20-5 win. Considering the Blue Devils have won five games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Kole Fleming, who scored three runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Jhai Mosley, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.
Stanton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Fletcher's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Stanton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Everything went Fletcher's way against Stanton in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Fletcher made off with a 14-3 win. Does Fletcher have another victory up their sleeve, or will Stanton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
