The Miami Beach Hi-Tides's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 57-50 win over Carol City.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Baptiste T, who scored 14 points. Drew Tobin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Carol City lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jahquori Lombrage, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lombrage has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Oluwasemilore Adewoye, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Miami Beach now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Carol City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Beach will take on MAST Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carol City, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome JC Bermudez Doral at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (JC Bermudez Doral is ranked 688th, while Carol City is ranked 681st).
