Softball Recap: Kennewick Wins Going Away Against Pasco

Kennewick never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Pasco Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Arianna Ames looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Addison Fielder was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alayna Goodnight, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Kennewick always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Kennewick and bumps their season record up to 5-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Pasco, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
