Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Nemaha Central Thunder walked away with it. They blew past Riley County 55-13 at home. The win was just business as usual for Nemaha Central, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.
Carter Hajek continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 186 yards and five touchdowns, while also throwing for 135 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes. Hajek is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last ten games he's played. Carter Rottinghaus also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Nemaha Central will be playing at home against Osage City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Osage City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Nemaha Central is ranked 19th). Riley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
