Lebanon Trail has won three straight games at home, while Memorial has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. Lebanon Trail will host Memorial at 1:00 p.m. Lebanon Trail's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Memorial's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, Lebanon Trail earned an 8-4 victory over Independence. The Trail Blazers haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Parker Rodgers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. In other batting news, Kendall Dreary and Ella Ramon did most of the damage at the plate: Dreary went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI, while Ramon scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, Ramon posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Valentina Quinones was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Lebanon Trail hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Memorial made easy work of Frisco on Wednesday and carried off a 9-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Like Lebanon Trail, Memorial also got a great game from a two-way player: Megan Wilson. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Wilson was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sanaa Moses, who went 2-for-4 with two triples and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Caiden Coleman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Memorial now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Lebanon Trail, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-1.
Everything went Lebanon Trail's way against Memorial when the teams last played back in February, as Lebanon Trail made off with a 12-0 victory. Will Lebanon Trail repeat their success, or does Memorial has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
