There's no place like home for the Novi Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down Michigan Collegiate 60-45 on Friday.
Aaron Lauer was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Chase LeFevre, who dropped a double-double on 11 rebounds and ten assists.
Novi pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Michigan Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Novi will be home for the holidays to greet Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Michigan Collegiate will be home for the holidays to greet Detroit Public Safety Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
