Meanwhile, Eastmoor Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Briggs for the full four quarters, racking up a 90-38 win on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-27.
James Nowell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of King Moody, who scored ten points.
Marion-Franklin's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Eastmoor Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
Marion-Franklin and the Warriors were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but the Red Devils came up empty-handed after a 66-65 defeat. Can Marion-Franklin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
