Great Crossing can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They breezed by Western Hills at home to the tune of 86-38. Winning may never get old, but Great Crossing sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Great Crossing's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Junius Burrell, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burrell has scored all season. Vince Dawson was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Great Crossing pushed their record up to 18-1 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.35 points. As for Western Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Great Crossing will face off against Male at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. Western Hills will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
