The West Clermont Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 73-54 fall against Kings. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Clermont in their matchups with Kings: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, West Clermont had strong showings from Rayshawn Hubbard, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds, and Cameron Strause, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jase Meiser, who scored five points.
West Clermont dropped their record down to 5-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Kings, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Clermont will challenge Winton Woods at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Winton Woods presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Clermont in Ohio (Winton Woods is ranked 19th, while West Clermont is ranked 484th). As for Kings, they will head out on the road to face off against Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
