Centauri can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Del Norte Tigers as the Centauri Falcons made off with a 15-9 victory. The win was just what Centauri needed coming off of a 22-4 loss in their prior match.
Dylan Gallardo was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk). Gallardo was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Jace Haslett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Kamryn Garcia was another key contributor, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four RBI and a stolen base.
The victory got Centauri back to even at 5-5. As for Del Norte, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Centauri will be playing at home against Gunnison at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Del Norte, they will head out on the road to challenge Center at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
