Seminole Ridge took Martin County into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 15-7.
Despite the loss, Seminole Ridge got top-tier performance from Emma Ginther, who had 18 digs. Ginther is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had six or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Inara Chin Lee, who had nine digs and 24 assists.
Park Vista's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Seminole Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
