Volleyball Recap: Wakulla Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It's playoff time, and Wakulla had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Pensacola Tigers 3-0 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the War Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wakulla was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wakulla to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leila Parsons, who had four digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Parsons a new career-high.

Parsons wasn't the only good servers: Wakulla was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.

Wakulla's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Pensacola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

Wakulla has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Bishop Kenny on the 25th. Pensacola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
