After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against West Park, Antelope was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Cordova Lancers  3-2. The  win was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their eight-match losing streak.
 If you add up the scores from across all five sets (101-100) Antelope actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 21-25, 14-25,  15-12.
 Inna Paduret paced Antelope's offense, picking up 12 kills. Paduret got some help from  Emma Rumsey and her 16 assists. Finally,  Paduret was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high ten blocks.
Antelope's  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for Cordova, they dropped their record down to 5-18 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Antelope is set to  face off against  their familiar foe McClatchy  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cordova will  take on  rival West Park  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
