Commerce has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will take on the Pioneer Valley Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m.
While Commerce couldn't quite beat Baystate Academy on January 4th, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 79-point loss they were dealt back in December of 2023. Commerce fell just short of Baystate Academy by a score of 31-28.
Meanwhile, Pioneer Valley Christian strolled past Maimonides with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 64-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pioneer Valley Christian.
Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pioneer Valley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Commerce beat Pioneer Valley Christian 60-48 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Commerce since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
