North Adams hasn't had much luck against Manchester recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Green Devils will square off against the Greyhounds at 5:00 p.m. The last three games North Adams has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
North Adams is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Eastern on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Green Devils were not able to get on the board.

Carlee Garrison

04/17/25 @ Peebles | 9 |
04/16/25 vs Clay | 6 |
04/15/25 vs Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington | 12 |
Carlee Garrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on eight hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
Meanwhile, Manchester entered their tilt with West Union on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Dragons get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by 11 runs or more this season.
Rylie Young was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Young was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
In other batting news, Addilyn Hunter was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Chloe Carter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Manchester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Union only posted an OBP of .111.
Manchester pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Adams, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Both North Adams and Manchester just can't seem to miss. The Green Devils have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Manchester struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
North Adams couldn't quite get it done against Manchester when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Green Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
