Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Medina Valley). They blew past the Churchill Chargers 21-1 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five matches in a row.
Alyssa Montez made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 4-for-5. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Medina Valley got a massive performance out of Claire Boehme, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave Boehme a new career-high in hits (three).
