Eastside barely beat Gaffney the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Eastside put the hurt on Gaffney with a sharp 10-4 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Eastside is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Gaffney is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Eastside will have a chance to go back-to-back against Gaffney: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
