Polytechnic had won eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 15-3 to make it nine. Everything went their way against the Rio Hondo Prep Kares as they made off with a 14-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Amelia Shih made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched.
