The game was Pierson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Maggie Sternquist was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Belvidere's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Harlem, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Crystal Lake South is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Harlem, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rockford East at 6:30 p.m. Rockford East will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 542nd, while Harlem is ranked 233rd).
