Even though Chattahoochee County has not done well against the Red Devils recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Chattahoochee County blew past the Red Devils, posting a 59-31 win on the road.
Makyiah Clark and Jessika Carter were among the main playmakers for Chattahoochee County as the former scored 17 points and the latter scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ke'Asia Hardwick, who scored ten points.
The win got Hawkinsville back to even at 8-8. As for Chattahoochee County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Tuesday's match is shaping up to be a scrappy contest: Hawkinsville have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.1 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Chattahoochee County, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 rebounds per game.
