The Grand Junction Central Warriors won the last time they faced the Durango Demons, and things went their way  on Friday too. Grand Junction Central walked away with  a   51-39  win over Durango. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Grand Junction Central.
 Grand Junction Central got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Asher Carter out in front who  scored ten points along with five  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Carter has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jackson Amos, who  scored eight points along with three  steals.
 Grand Junction Central pushed their record up to 8-6 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Durango, they have  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grand Junction Central will play host again and welcome Grand Junction, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant  players against one another:  Will Applegate and  Blake Rooks. As for Durango, they will be playing at home against Montrose at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Montrose presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Durango in Colorado (Montrose is ranked 46th, while Durango is ranked 132nd).
