DeSoto County can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They had just enough and edged Moore Haven out 3-2. The win was just what DeSoto County needed coming off of a 10-4 defeat in their prior game.

On the hitting side, Candice Chime was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Adrianna Thorne, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
DeSoto County's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. DeSoto County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game.
