Leading Avalon to victory were Haley Zaidle and Brooklyn De La Garza. Zaidle scored 11 points, while De La Garza scored 11 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which De La Garza has scored at least 25% of Avalon's points.
Avalon's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Covington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Avalon will stay at home for another game and welcome Leon at 5:30 p.m. on December 2nd.
