University School of Jackson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season. They breezed by Carroll Academy at home to the tune of 72-9. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory University School of Jackson has managed all season.
University School of Jackson found their leader in underclassman Jacob Snider, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Snider scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Cook, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Lawrence County pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for University School of Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
