The St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers were the 52-6 winner over the Clarendon Hall Saints when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. St. John's Christian Academy fell 16-9 to Clarendon Hall on Friday. St. John's Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Darius Aiken was his usual excellent self, rushing for 123 yards, while also catching a touchdown. Aiken is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played.
St. John's Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Clarendon Hall, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's Christian Academy will challenge Patrick Henry Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Patrick Henry Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday. As for Clarendon Hall, they will head out on the road to face off against Lee Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lee Academy will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
