Geneseo came into Friday's matchup having lost 28 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Alleman Pioneers by a score of 61-52 on Friday. The Maple Leafs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Geneseo's win ended a 22-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-19. As for Alleman, their defeat was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-20.

Geneseo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-29 loss against Canton on the 1st. As for Alleman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sherrard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
