Corry came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Conneaut Area Eagles as they made off with a 20-5 win. 20 seems to be a good number for the Beavers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Corry pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Conneaut Area, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Corry will challenge Fairview at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conneaut Area, they will head out to challenge Erie at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
