The Chelsea Bulldogs had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.9 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They came out on top against Dexter by a score of 31-21. This was payback for Chelsea, who suffered a 45-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chelsea to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyson Hill, who rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns. Luke Anstead also helped out as he racked up 102 rushing yards.
Chelsea's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Pinckney and 2-7 Ypsilanti (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 36.1% over those games). As for Dexter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Chelsea does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dexter is also done with their season.
