The Centerville Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springtown.
Dawson Doggett was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 steals for Springtown. Doggett has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Paige Winstead was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Springtown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Centerville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Buffalo at 11:00 a.m. on December 1st. Buffalo's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Centerville's offense will have their work cut out for Centerville. Springtown will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Onalaska at 5:00 p.m. on November 30th.
