Davis (Okla.) and
Heritage Hall (Oklahoma City, Okla.) both received superb games from their defenses, but Davis was able to break through the stalemate for a 12-0 win.
The Wolves scored on two rushing touchdowns to pull out the win.
After taking the lead on a
Alec Hetherington touchdown run in the second quarter, Davis led 6-0 at the half.
DHS expanded its lead to 12 points entering the fourth quarter. The Wolves' lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by
Blake Summers.
Summers played well for Davis in the victory. The sophomore halfback ran for one touchdown.
DHS got revenge for last year's 29-13 loss to the Chargers with the victory.
With the win the Wolves extended their winning streak to three games.
Davis (3-0) goes up against Konawa in a 2A District 4 game matchup next week, while Heritage Hall (1-2) locks horns with Kingfisher in a 3A District 3 game.
