Liberty Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Wayne Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Heat will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Liberty Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

The team relied heavily on Nate Peck, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Wayne Christian is 5-2 when Peck posts two or more runs, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Hamm, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.
Wayne Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Liberty Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Liberty Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Wayne Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
