Ocosta is a perfect 7-0 against Naselle since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Ocosta is taking a road trip to challenge Naselle at 4:00 p.m. Ocosta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.2 runs per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Ocosta beat Wahkiakum 12-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Joanah Rosander made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Gabby Ness was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Noel Cuzdey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Ocosta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wahkiakum only posted an OBP of .387.

Naselle not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024. They put the hurt on Wahkiakum with a sharp 24-6 win. The Comets have beaten the Mules the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mules has come to flipping the script.

The victory got Naselle back to even at 1-1. As for Ocosta, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Ocosta took their victory against Naselle in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-5. Will Ocosta repeat their success, or does Naselle has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
