They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-52 victory over Ohio School for the Deaf. The win was familiar territory for Oklahoma School for the Deaf who now have three in a row.
RyJan Reininger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Russell Fewel, who scored five points along with seven assists and four steals.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Ohio School for the Deaf, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Illinois School for the Deaf at 12:30 p.m. on January 20th.
