Suffield is 7-1 against Bolton since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Suffield Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Bolton Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Suffield unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 60-52 to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy. Suffield has not had much luck with Sports & Medical Sciences Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Bolton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. The contest between Bolton and East Windsor wasn't particularly close, with Bolton falling 57-39.
Despite their defeat, Bolton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Gavin LaPlante, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Bryan Diehl, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Suffield's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Bolton, they bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
Suffield was able to grind out a solid victory over Bolton in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 63-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Suffield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
