The Westside Rams stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against Easley as Westside made off with a 52-28 victory. The win was nothing new for Westside as they're now sitting on three straight.
Westside found their leader in underclassman Makyhia Paul, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Paul hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Ahrianna Scott, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Westside's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Easley, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-7 record last season and are now at 6-10.
Westside won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Butler at 3:30 p.m. on January 13th. Butler will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 73rd in Georgia, while Westside is ranked 17th in South Carolina). As for Easley, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
