After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wyoming Indian, the Niobrara County Tigers were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against Rocky Mountain by a score of 57-48. This was payback for Niobrara County, who suffered a 51-32 loss the last time these two teams met.
Rocky Mountain's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Johnson, who scored 9 points. Bryce Haslem was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 assists.
Niobrara County's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Rocky Mountain, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Niobrara County will be playing in front of their home fans against Guernsey-Sunrise at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocky Mountain will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Glenrock at 4:30 p.m. on December 9th.
