Aidric Bird posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk).

Coming up, Bird and Boise will head out to square off against Borah at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boise has some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
