Leonia's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Dumont Huskies as they made off with an 8-2 victory. Considering the Lions have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Leonia back to even at 4-4. As for Dumont, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Leonia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-0 victory against Palisades Park on the 25th. As for Dumont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 20-0 win against Tenafly on the 25th.
