Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Bastrop: 24, North Webster: 29.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
In what's become a running theme this season, Bastrop gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Carroll 58-24 on the road. Given Bastrop's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Carroll is ranked 165th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Webster was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 36-31 to Richwood.
Bastrop's victory bumped their record up to 25-0. As for North Webster, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2.
Everything came up roses for Bastrop against North Webster in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 52-11 victory. Will Bastrop repeat their success, or does North Webster have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
