Cross Keys can attribute much of their success to Nicole Resendiz, who posted four points in addition to six steals and three blocks. Resendiz has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Michell Ramirez, who scored six points and 11 boards.
Fulton Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cross Keys, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Fulton Science Academy has already played their next contest (against Dominion Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cross Keys and Excel Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
