Jeunegens scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Belmont scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Orville Salomon, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Bonita Springs' defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Golden Gate, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season.
Bonita Springs is on the road again on Monday and play against Evangelical Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. Golden Gate will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mason at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th.
