The Fairfield Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 56-32 defeat at the hands of Princeton. Fairfield has struggled against the Vikings recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Myka Richardson and Kayla McCoy certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Richardson scored ten points along with three steals, while McCoy scored eight points along with five steals.
Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Princeton, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Fairfield will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Princeton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Comets at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Mason will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
