Selma was handed a six-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Lemoore Tigers 14-12. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bears' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Natalie Calixtro was a standout: she scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Moriah Preciado, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Selma's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Lemoore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Selma will challenge Fowler at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Fowler will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Lemoore, they will take on Coalinga at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
