Charlie Nigut Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 Elizabeth Forward was led to victory by  Charlie Nigut, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Nigut rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also picked up 48 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 The  victory was  the third in a row for Elizabeth Forward, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Nigut and Elizabeth Forward will be playing at home against Yough  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

 While Yough might've come up empty  on Friday,  Raidon Kuroda wasn't going down without a fight. Kuroda was dynamite, picking up  a  sack and making eight total tackles. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up  a  sack and made eight total tackles.
 Yough is  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5. Kuroda and Yough will head out to  challenge Elizabeth Forward  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Camren Phillips Sets Career High in  Rushing Yards
 On Friday, Southmoreland got the W thanks in part to  Camren Phillips playing the best football he has all season. Phillips rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 The  victory (which was Southmoreland's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Phillips and Southmoreland are taking a road trip to  face off against Mt. Pleasant  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Ryan Messina Dazzles in Elizabeth Forward Win
 The second Elizabeth Forward player making an appearance here is  Ryan Messina, and for good reason. He threw for 216 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
 For the season,  Messina  has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 164.6 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he had nine  passing touchdowns.

A Season-Best  Effort from  Connor Stokes Leads Elizabeth Forward over Derry
  Connor Stokes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elizabeth Forward to the win  on Friday. Stokes picked up 108 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 92 yards.
 On the season,  Stokes  has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 48.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 16.86  receiving yards per game.
